Hub Controller
Cascaded Terminus Technology chipsets support efficient data transfers for maximum performance across all devices with minimal power draw. Supports Multiple Transaction Translators for optimum performance when a combination of USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices are attached. Low power consumption is achived with 0.18um technology and declocking/depowering of unused ports and parts of chip not currently in use (155mA with 7 devices connected, 66mA with one), and fully supports USB 2.0 High-Speed (480Mbs), USB 1.1 Full-speed (12 Mbps), and Low-Speed (1.5Mbps) devices.
USB Charging
This is a standard USB 2.0 hub, requiring a host computer to be attached and on to charge devices at the USB 2.0 standard 500mA rate. Some devices (e.g. the Apple iPad) require more than 500mA to charge when in use. A standard USB 2.0 hub is not recommended for charging these devices.

At the top of the front bezel are behind a two USB 2.0 ports and two audio jacks (headphone and microphone). These ports are rear facing and are not visible from the front of the PC. LEDs for hard drive and Wi-Fi business are included in the panel above and below that are two optical drive bays. The holder of a DVD multi-drive with LightScribe labeling technology and the other is vacant. Blu-ray would be a welcome addition here. Behind a sliding panel is a card reader with support for media formats 15 and two USB 2.0 ports.A strip of backlit red trim separates the drive bay below the sliding panel and adds a touch of color to all black finish. At the rear of the case are four USB 2.0 ports (for a total of ten), an Ethernet port and three audio jacks. Video output is via a dedicated Radeon HD 6450 graphics card, which gives you the DVI and HDMI.
